Der SMART Cube X ist die kompakteste Version der neuen Plattform und wurde für Fertigungsunternehmen entwickelt, bei denen Präzision gefragt ist, der Platz jedoch begrenzt ist. Trotz ihrer geringen Abmessungen bietet sie ein bemerkenswert hohes Maß an Effizienz und Genauigkeit, das in dieser Maschinenklasse selten zu finden ist. Mit ihren extrem hohen Beschleunigungswerten, herausragenden Bearbeitungsgeschwindigkeiten und der Fähigkeit, sowohl 2D- als auch 3D-Schneidprozesse abzubilden, ist sie ideal für Branchen geeignet, in denen Geschwindigkeit und Genauigkeit die wichtigsten Wettbewerbsvorteile darstellen. Die MasterLINE X perfektioniert diese Eigenschaften und eignet sich daher besonders für Unternehmen mit einem massiven Teileaufkommen, anspruchsvollen Konturen oder besonders hohen Materialstärken. Der SMART Giant X wurde für große Industrieformate und XXL-Materialzuschnitte entwickelt. Er deckt den Bereich der XXL-Blechbearbeitung ab und ermöglicht es Anwendern, extrem große Blechformate effizient und präzise zu bearbeiten. Der SMART Giant X ist damit die optimale Lösung für Branchen wie den schweren Stahlbau, den Schiffbau oder den Anlagenbau, in denen außergewöhnlich große Werkstücke zum Alltag gehören. Er kombiniert riesige Arbeitsbereiche mit hoher Leistung und der Möglichkeit, sowohl 2D- als auch 3D-Laserschneidtechnologie einzusetzen. Die Anlage ist standardmäßig mit einem Arbeitsbereich von bis zu 3.000 x 15.000 mm erhältlich. Die Länge kann bei Bedarf jedoch sogar auf 42.000 mm erweitert werden. Laserquellen von bis zu 60 kW stehen auch hier für den Schnitt extrem großer Materialstärken zur Verfügung.

Die X-Series wurde nicht nur als Maschinenfamilie entwickelt, sondern ist optional als komplett digitale Fertigungsplattform erhältlich. Die X-Series ist IndustryFusion Ready und lässt sich somit problemlos in vernetzte Smart-Factory-Umgebungen integrieren. Die Maschinen liefern Echtzeitinformationen zu Energieverbrauch, Auslastung, Prozessstabilität, Maschinenzuständen und relevanten Leistungsparametern. From trade fair highlight to production success: Two years ago, the TubeLINE tube laser celebrated its premiere at the Tube – today it is successfully used in numerous production facilities throughout Europe and sets new standards in automated tube processing. At Tube 2026, ACCURL Europe will show how the range of this series has evolved.

Every two years, Düsseldorf in Germany becomes the centre of the tube manufacturing and processing industry. From 13 to 17 April 2026, the Tube trade fair will once again focus the full attention of more than 30,000 trade visitors and around 1,000 exhibitors on the topic of pipes, profiles and beams and their processing. ACCURL Europe’s TubeLINE tube laser, which celebrated its premiere at the Tube trade fair in 2024 and has since proven itself in numerous productions, will also be the focus of the 2026 trade fair presentation! (Hall 6, Stand A18).

Live in action: Automated tube laser TubeLINE

The tube laser from ACCURL Europe is the ideal system for processing round pipes, profiles or beams quickly and precisely. Thanks to high-quality components, automatic loading and unloading and positioning, the processing of the various semi-finished products is reliable and also extremely efficient. The series is available as a 2D and 3D solution and can be designed for diameters from 12 to 580 mm and lengths up to 12.2 meters. Laser sources with an output of up to 15 kW are available. "Whether in plant or mechanical engineering, in energy or air conditioning technology as well as in the automotive and agricultural sectors – the cutting of tubes plays an important role on the way to the final product," says Johannes Ried, managing director of ACCURL Europe GmbH. Die Kölbl Metallbau GmbH, ein niederbayerisches Unternehmen mit Sitz in Tiefenbach im Landkreis Passau, blickt auf eine 40-jährige Geschichte zurück. 1985 gegründet und heute von Georg und Martin Kölbl geführt, hat sich der mittelständische Betrieb zu einem vielseitigen Anbieter von Metall- und Stahlbauleistungen entwickelt – ergänzt durch ein leistungsstarkes Schneidzentrum, das vier Schneidtechnologien umfasst: Plasma, Autogen, Wasserstrahl und seit 2025 auch Laser.

„Unser Unternehmen zeichnet sich durch 22 bestens ausgebildete Mitarbeiter aus, die ihr Handwerk beherrschen. Aber auch durch einen sehr modernen Maschinenpark, den wir stets auf dem neuesten Stand halten und mit dem wir alle Anforderungen der Metallbaubranche im eigenen Haus umsetzen können“, erklärt Geschäftsführer und Inhaber Georg Kölbl beim Vor-Ort-Termin.

Vier Schneidtechnologien – jede mit eigenem Stellenwert

Kölbl Metallbau nutzt die vier im heutigen Metallbau entscheidenden Schneidverfahren: Laser, Plasma, Autogen und Wasserstrahl – und jedes davon wird im Familienbetrieb gezielt eingesetzt. „Jede der vier Schneidtechnologien, die wir vor Ort haben, hat ihre Daseinsberechtigung, und auf keine davon können wir verzichten“, betont Kölbl.

Plasma: flexibel und unempfindlich

So verfügt das Unternehmen beispielsweise schon seit vielen Jahren über eine Plasma-Autogen-Kombinationsanlage von MicroStep. Das Team nutzt Plasma vorwiegend zum Schneiden von Blechen bis 35 mm Materialstärke – ein Verfahren, das relativ unabhängig von der Qualität der Blechoberfläche stabile Ergebnisse liefert. „Eine einfache und unkomplizierte Schneidmethode“, so Kölbl. Die Autogentechnik ist besonders stark bei dickeren Blechen: „Mit der Autogentechnik schneiden wir Baustahl mit einer Materialstärke von bis zu 150 mm“, erklärt der Geschäftsführer. Und die Wasserstrahlanlage ermöglicht Präzision bei Materialien, für die thermische Trennverfahren technisch nicht funktionieren oder aufgrund des Wärmeeintrags nicht gewünscht sind: Kölbls Unternehmen schneidet damit beispielsweise Kunststoff, Stein, Glas oder sogar Granit – selbst mit feinsten Innenkonturen.

„Der Laser ist eine perfekte Systemergänzung für uns"

Seit 2025 verstärkt eine neue Laserschneidanlage von MicroStep Indystry powered by ACCRUL die Produktion. „Der Laser ist eine perfekte Systemergänzung für uns“, sagt Kölbl. „Damit können wir auch kleinste Innenkonturen schneiden – genau wie mit dem Wasserstrahl. Das entlastet unsere Wasserstrahlanlage, die nach wie vor unverzichtbar ist.“ Die neue Laseranlage verfügt über einen Arbeitsbereich von 4.000 x 2.000 mm und ist mit einer 8 kW Raycus-Laserquelle sowie einem Schneidkopf der EX-TRABEAM®-Serie von THERMACUT ausgestattet. Sie verarbeitet Aluminium, Edelstahl und Baustahl sowie hochfeste Stähle wie Hardox – und das bei Blechstärken von 1 bis 25 mm.

Mehr als 20 Jahre Partnerschaft mit MicroStep Europa: „Die faire Beratung ist etwas Besonderes“

Kölbl Metallbau und MicroStep Europa (ACCURL-Partner in Deutschland) verbindet eine langjährige Beziehung. „Die erste Anlage haben wir vor über 20 Jahren gekauft“, erinnert sich Georg Kölbl. Die erneute Auftragsvergabe für eine Schneidanlage von MicroStep Europa war daher kein Zufall: „Die faire Beratung, bei der wirklich das beste Ergebnis für den Kunden ermittelt wird, ist wirklich etwas Besonderes. Und deshalb fiel die Entscheidung wieder zugunsten von MicroStep Europa.“ Die Implementierung der neuen Laseranlage hat die Entscheidung laut Kölbl bestätigt: „Die Umsetzung war sehr professionell – von der Planung und Projektierung, also wie die Anlage mit allen notwendigen Medien ideal im Raum platziert wird, bis hin zur Schulung und Inbetriebnahme.“ Besonders wichtig ist laut Kölbl die Anlaufphase: „Wenn man eine neue Maschine mit einer für einen selbst neuen Technologie hat, gibt es am Anfang viele Fragen. Und dann ruft man bei MicroStep Europa an und bekommt schnell eine Lösung.“

Schnell, stabil und leistungsstark

Georg Kölbl ist mit der neuen MasterLINE-Laseranlage äußerst zufrieden: „Das Leistungsniveau ist sehr hoch. Die Maschine ist sehr schnell startklar – bis sie läuft, bis man schneidet, dauert es nur wenige Minuten. Und auch die Laufstabilität ist hervorragend.“

Ein Meilenstein in der Blechbearbeitung: ACCURL hat offiziell seine hochmoderne Smart Factory am Hauptsitz in Ma'anshan, Ostchina, eingeweiht. Im Rahmen der feierlichen Eröffnung wurden mehrere europäische ACCURL-Händler für ihre herausragenden Leistungen in den Bereichen Markenaufbau und Vertrieb ausgezeichnet.

Mit der Inbetriebnahme der neuen Smart Factory setzt ACCURL ein starkes Signal für die Zukunft der intelligenten Fertigung. Die Investition von rund 38 Millionen Euro schafft eine Produktionsumgebung, die digitale Fertigung, intelligente Technologien und grüne Energie miteinander vereint.

Produktionsfläche von über 65.000 Quadratmetern

Die neue Anlage erstreckt sich über mehr als 65.000 Quadratmeter und ist darauf ausgelegt, jährlich rund 1.000 High-End-Systeme zu produzieren – darunter Laserschneidanlagen und CNC-Abkantpressen. Dank energiesparender und emissionsarmer Prozesse wird die Smart Factory jährlich erhebliche Mengen an CO₂ und anderen Emissionen einsparen und damit neue Nachhaltigkeitsstandards in der Branche setzen.

Cameron Lee, CEO von ACCURL, betonte bei der Eröffnungszeremonie die Bedeutung dieses Tages:

Die vorgestellten Systeme zeichnen sich durch hochpräzise Steuerung, energieeffiziente Antriebskonzepte und intelligente Automatisierungslösungen aus, die nicht nur die Produktion beschleunigen, sondern auch die Qualität auf ein neues Niveau heben. Mit diesen Innovationen festigt ACCURL seine Rolle als technologischer Vorreiter und bietet Händlern zukunftsweisende Lösungen für die Anforderungen einer zunehmend digitalisierten Fertigungswelt.

Die feierliche Eröffnung war ein internationales Fest: Vertriebspartner und Zulieferer aus der ganzen Welt kamen zusammen mit Vertretern der chinesischen Regierung, um gemeinsam mit ACCURL den Beginn einer neuen Ära der intelligenten Fertigung zu begehen.

Ein besonderes Highlight: Im Rahmen der Feierlichkeiten wurden mehrere europäische ACCURL-Händler geehrt: MicroStep Europa – zuständig für die deutschsprachigen Länder – erhielt den „Global Brand Builder Award“. TUWI, der ACCURL-Händler für die Benelux-Länder, wurde mit dem „Sales Leadership Award“ ausgezeichnet. Der norwegische Händler Meidell freute sich über den „Market Innovation Award“ und das Unternehmen Axe Status, verantwortlich für Großbritannien und Irland, erhielt den „Ambassador Award“. Cameron Lee dankte den Preisträgern herzlich: „Diese Auszeichnungen sind eine Anerkennung für die Unterstützung bei der erfolgreichen Etablierung der Marke ACCURL in Europa und dem Aufbau einer starken Marktpräsenz.“

KreLe GmbH, based in the Innviertel region of Upper Austria, has been manufacturing precise laser parts and laser bent parts for customers in the mechanical engineering, metal technology, and locksmith industries in Austria and Germany since 2022. At the heart of the modern machinery are a MasterLINE laser cutting machine (which is sold in German-speaking countries under the product name “MSE SmartFL”) and a EuroMaster press brake, with which KreLe can precisely implement even demanding 3D components. In addition to state-of-the-art CNC technology, the company particularly appreciates the personal and reliable service of MicroStep Europa (ACCURL partner in Germany).

Founded by Florian Lengauer and Maximilian Kreiseder, KreLe produces state-of-the-art solutions for metal processing at its Perwang am Grabensee site – from prototype production to series production. The customer base mainly includes companies from the mechanical engineering sector in Austria and Germany, but metal technology and locksmith companies also rely on KreLe's expertise. With around 1,000 tons of raw material processed annually, the contract manufacturer is recording steady growth. However, despite the increasing volume of orders, KreLe remains flexible with its current four employees and can also reliably implement short-term customer orders.

Fiber lasers and press brakes from ACCURL in use

Since 2023, KreLe has been relying on a cutting system from the MasterLINE series from ACCURL. Equipped with 6 kW 2D fiber laser technology, an automatic shuttle table and a working area of 4,000 x 2,000 mm, the company uses it to cut steel up to 25 mm and aluminum and stainless steel up to 15 mm sheet thickness. Initially, a used press brake complemented the machinery, which was replaced by a EuroMaster from ACCURL at the end of 2024. This offers 320 tons of press force, a bending length of 4,000 mm and is equipped with an angle measuring system, bending aids and a modern Delem control system. "This means that we can realize all 3D components and are also ideally positioned when it comes to bending," emphasizes managing director Florian Lengauer. KreLe rounds off its range of services with additional processing steps such as welding and edge rounding using a deburring machine.

Technology and partnership on an equal footing

The state-of-the-art machinery enables the production of special formats up to 4,000 mm in length using the latest CNC technology. For managing director Maximilian Kreiseder, the choice of machine supplier was quickly clear: "We chose MicroStep Europa, the responsible ACCURL dealer for all German-speaking countries, because of their humanity, because contact with customers is simply their top priority, as is for us. Whether in the field or by technicians on site: The support provided by MicroStep Europa convinced KreLe from the very beginning. The most important thing for us was the service. They are actually available for us around the clock. Not least, that was the decisive reason why we also purchased the second machine from MicroStep Europa."

Two leading trade fairs, one strong signal: ACCURL Europe can look back on a successful trade fair fall. The presence at Blechexpo in Stuttgart and SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN in Essen has shown how great the interest in innovative cutting and bending technologies as well as digital solutions is – and how important personal discussions remain.

With a clear focus on high-tech and digitalization, ACCURL Europe presented itself at two leading international trade fairs for sheet metal working and joining technology in the fall of 2025. At the Blechexpo in Stuttgart as well as at the SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN in Essen, the interest in ACCURL Europe's solutions was enormous.

“We sensed that the industry is once again looking to the future with much greater optimism,” says Managing Director Johannes Ried, drawing a positive conclusion. “The discussions at both trade fairs were characterized by concrete investment plans and a genuine desire for innovation. Enormous demand for high-precision bending technology

The focus of interest at the ACCURL Europe booths was on the latest developments in the field of laser cutting of sheet metal, pipes, profiles and beams – with automated material handling playing a major role, among other things. "We are also particularly pleased that we have made a name for ourselves in the field of high-precision bending technology in recent years," says Johannes Ried commenting on the enormous demand in this area.

In Bad Wurzach, a small spa town in the Upper Swabian Allgäu, BIKU Laser- und Metalltechnik GmbH has its headquarters. Since it was founded in 2021 by the two managing directors Philipp Kuhn and Markus Birk, the company has developed dynamically: What began as a two-man locksmith's shop is now a modern manufacturing company with eight qualified specialists. BIKU's range of services extends from the manufacture of welded assemblies and steel construction components to extensive contract manufacturing work in sheet metal processing. The customers are just as diverse as the projects – from mechanical engineering and special machine construction to the food and pharmaceutical industries to forestry and agricultural machinery technology, the packaging industry and the construction industry. Whether prototypes, small or large series – BIKU implements tailor-made solutions that are precisely designed to meet the requirements of its customers, from planning to production.

From plasma to laser technology

In production, BIKU relies on modern technologies and offers a wide range of services – including bending, welding, milling and surface finishing. A particularly central area within production is sheet metal cutting. To increase vertical integration and be able to react flexibly to customer requirements, the company invested in a high-performance plasma cutting system from ACCURL as early as 2022 – initially for classic applications in the construction and locksmith sector. However, with the continuous increase in contract manufacturing orders, the requirements for precision and cutting quality also increased. In order to meet these requirements and ensure reliable further processing, BIKU started looking for a suitable laser cutting solution – with success.

"We chose MicroStep Europa right away"

The decision was once again made in favor of MicroStep Europa (the ACCURL dealer for the German-speaking market) —and quite deliberately so. “Our collaboration with MicroStep Europa on a previous system was already excellent. The support was very good back then, which is why we didn't even bother asking anywhere else, but decided directly in favor of them, because we were simply in good hands here and still are,” explains Managing Director Markus Birk.

Since 2023, a laser cutting system from the MasterLINE series (which is sold in German-speaking countries under the product name “MSE Smart^FL”) with a working area of 3,000 × 1,500 mm and 6 kW laser power has been ensuring maximum precision – and replacing the previous plasma technology. It enables precise cutting of steel up to 25 mm and stainless steel and aluminium up to 15 mm material thickness. "We are very satisfied with the laser cutting system. This allows us to cover our spectrum ideally and we are in a top position in terms of process reliability," adds managing director Philipp Kuhn.

Engels Behältertechnik is more than a metal processor. At the Selmsdorf site, the company manufactures tailor-made waste systems for the public sector – flexibly, efficiently and with high quality. To remain competitive in the future, Engels has invested in state-of-the-art laser technology. The new MasterLINE (which is sold in German-speaking countries under the product name “MSE SmartFL”) not only significantly reduces operating costs but also increases speed and precision in production. The company benefits from the new technology in several ways.

Waste disposal is increasingly being incorporated into municipal construction plans – and more often underground. Underfloor systems are seeing a surge in popularity in Germany – not only, but especially in municipal road and residential construction. An important driver of this development is located in Selmsdorf near Lübeck: Engels Behältertechnik GmbH. The metal processing company is part of the internationally active Engels Group and supplies individual waste solutions for the public sector.

The company has its roots in the neighboring country, where underfloor systems have long been an established waste disposal system. About the background of the company: Engels is an owner-managed company based in Eindhoven with other complementary locations in Belgium, England, Portugal and also in Germany. Since 2008, Engels Behältertechnik GmbH has been serving the German-speaking countries from Selmsdorf (near Lübeck).

Tailor-made solutions for municipal clients

"Engels has been a supplier of sustainable storage, transport and disposal solutions for over 70 years. Here at the location in Germany, we are the metal manufacturing company within the Engels Group," explains sales manager Jan André. Mainly produced are underfloor systems and waste containers – but also smallest parts such as closure systems for plastic containers. The majority of customers are from the construction segment. "In doing so, we benefit from our extremely high flexibility and our high-quality design. Of course, we also have standard products, but in the end, we can always offer customer-specific modifications and implement the wishes," says André.

The challenge of competition: quality as the key

And this is one of the big plus points in an increasingly tight market. "There are some regional providers, and some of them compete on price. The market is competitive, so we need to be efficient and produce cost-effectively. And we need to maintain the high quality, for which we are known," explains the Sales Manager.

New laser, new efficiency – investment in the future

DSince the end of 2023, cutting has been carried out with the “MSE MSE SmartFL” from MicroStep Europa (ACCURL partner for German-speaking countries) with an automatic shuttle table and smart Eckelmann control. Here, too, the focus was on efficiency to further strengthen competitiveness. The fiber laser system replaced an aging CO2 laser that was no longer profitable in terms of performance, spare parts availability and also in view of enormous ongoing operating costs. "A replacement solution has been considered for a long time. It was then properly planned around mid-2022," recalls Jan André, who was not involved in the purchasing process at the time.

Several laser manufacturers were contacted, and different variants and construction methods were examined. They were looking for a powerful 2D machine including an automatic shuttle table. "I think in the end it was the overall picture of the series and simply the good price-performance ratio that tipped the scales in favor of the MasterLINE," says André.

Material use for underground and above-ground tasks

Since then, the new technology has proven itself in everyday life. The system cuts large metal sheets for individual products on daily basis. In most cases, Engels then bends and welds manually. The MasterLINE is used to cut out the large-format side panels of the underfloor systems, add contours, or drill holes – but also to cut many small plug-in parts, including drop-in hatches, which are positioned above ground and thus visible, and must therefore meet higher standards in terms of appearance and design. The choice of material is also made accordingly: Engels cuts structural steel up to 20 mm, while galvanized steel and aluminum are only a few millimeters thick.

A new pillar: contract manufacturing with potential

In addition, Engels has built up a second pillar in the field of contract manufacturing over the pandemic period. An area with growth potential – also thanks to the higher capacities provided by the laser cutting system from ACCURL.

MasterLINE replaces CO₂ lasers – a technological leap with many advantages

And André Lange has been able to observe another great advantage since switching to the modern laser cutting system: the operation saves a lot of electricity. "Thanks to the MasterLINE, we have an energy saving of around 50 percent compared to the previous system," he has calculated. Compared to the predecessor system, the MasterLINE works much faster due to higher cutting speeds – accordingly, the working time of the operating personnel is used much better. The new acquisition also had a positive impact on gas consumption.

Many of these factors are clearly noticeable in production and balance sheet. Jan André concludes accordingly: "With MicroStep Europa, we have found a partner who meets our high standards of precision, performance and cost-effectiveness," he explains. The plant was set up and put into operation within a tight time frame. "This was not least due to perfect communication with MicroStep Europa in all planning phases, a competent service team and good operator training."
