The TubeLINE D | Powerful 2D/3D processing for especially large dimensions

The TubeLINE D series was developed for the reliable, high-precision and fast 2D and 3D processing of particularly large pipes, profiles and beams. The fiber laser cutting system enables the precise processing of pipes up to 12.2 meters in length and 580 mm in diameter as well as profile cutting up to a length of 12.2 meters and an edge length of up to 500 mm. An integrated zero cut function ensures maximum material utilization through scrap free pipe cutting. Depending on the version, the system has an extremely high degree of automation. The loading and unloading of cut parts can also be almost completely automated.

The highly dynamic machine is perfectly suited for the production of high-precision parts at high cutting speeds – allowing the finest contours and openings as well as exact bevel cuts to be realized. Square profiles, round profiles, elliptical profiles, flat profiles and triangular geometries as well as I-beams and other material shapes can be clamped and processed easily. The fiber laser system, which offers a choice of laser sources with an output of up to 20 kW, has amazingly low maintenance and operating costs.

Advanced Structural Engineering

3D cutting head for bevel cuts up to 45°

Depending on the version, the TubeLINE can be equipped with a 3D cutting head for bevel cuts from -45° to +45°. In this way, weld seam preparation and miter cuts can be realized more precisely and efficiently than would be possible with a manual process. Depending on the part geometry, simple V- and X-seams can be cut, as well as more complex V- or K-seams with micro joints. Programming is child's play thanks to the intuitive software solution. Non-contact distance control ensures consistent nozzle distances to the cutting material and optimum cutting quality as a result.

Monitoring the seal

Real-time monitoring of the sealing of the optical components extends the service life of these important components and thus ensures stable production.

Temperature monitoring

The system monitors the temperature of the safety glass and triggers an alarm and processing stop if a defined value is exceeded.

Easy maintenance & repair

The optics can be checked and replaced in just a few minutes with minimal effort – this significantly reduces maintenance costs.

Anti-collision protection

An effective anti-collision design of the cutting head prevents production downtime due to costly repair work.

Thanks to high-quality components and a clever machine design, the TubeLINE simplifies many processes in laser tube cutting. The FSCUT5000^® from Bochu – a highly precise, ultra-fast and extremely innovative EtherCAT CNC control system – ensures the best performance of the overall system. It was specially developed for fiber laser tube cutting machines. The highly agile system enables high-performance control of several chucks and a 3D bevel unit for the realization of weld seam preparations.

In combination with the user-friendly and highly functional TubePro^® software, users work with one of the most advanced and user-friendly solutions for tube and profile processing.
