
The GeniusPlus series is economical to purchase and works accurately and reliably. Even the basic version of the series has movable support arms and ACCURL® quality tool clamps, type PROMECAM. The press brake can be tailored extremely flexibly to customer requirements in terms of bending force, bending length and equipment. The press brake is also ideally suited for use as a tandem or tridem solution – for example, for bending particularly long sheets such as lighting poles or façade parts. Material handling to and from the system can also be automated in combination with a robot.
The GeniusPlus series can be equipped with a pressing force of 600 to 12,500 kN, according to requirements. Depending on the individual configuration, the press brake offers a working area of 2,000 to 9,000 mm in length.

The series is equipped with an innovative electro-hydraulic system that intelligently combines the advantages of two drive technologies: In contrast to a purely electric drive, it is powerful and durable thanks to hydraulics, but operates cleanly and without leaks thanks to its compact design without external oil lines.

The standard version of the GeniusPlus series is equipped with the latest CNC control technology from the renowned manufacturer Delem: The new generation of DA-Touch controls offers a very high degree of efficiency in the programming, operation and control of press brakes. Convenient operation combined with state-of-the-art technology ensures maximum productivity. Alternatively, controls from the manufacturer ESA are also available.

In the GeniusPlus series, the backgauge comprises two CNC-controlled axes as standard: X, R. The backgauge fingers are positioned automatically by the CNC program. The robust design ensures very high repeat accuracy and precision in axis positioning. Additional axes (Z1, Z2, X1, X2) can also be configured as an option to ensure a very high degree of flexibility when programming and executing parts.

Thanks to the most advanced 3D CAD modeling techniques, including analysis tools, stresses and deformations can be virtually simulated during the design phase and reduced to a minimum as a result. The GeniusPlus series is also characterized by a particularly high level of process reliability during operation: Only the highest quality components from well-known brand manufacturers such as Siemens, Heidenhain and HAWE Hydraulik are used.
The GeniusPlus series also has central lubrication, which ensures smooth and therefore long-lasting precision operation of the press brake, as well as air conditioning technology for the control cabinet, which ensures process reliability even at higher ambient temperatures.

The ultra-precise EVO-GO® electro-hydraulic system in combination with the CNC-controlled Accurl ULTRA® crowning system compensates for deformations in the structure that are unavoidable during the bending process and ensures that the desired bending angle can be achieved consistently over the entire length of the press brake. Both precision systems are already installed as standard in the GeniusPlus series.

Particularly practical: A tool store can be integrated into the side panel of the new GeniusPlus press brake, allowing the most important upper and lower tools to be quickly at hand whenever required

Maximum safety with minimum loss of time: The GeniusPlus series is equipped with a visible laser barrier. This IRIS safety device from lazersafe® protects the press brake operator from the risk of crushing between the upper and lower tool. The travel speed is controlled dynamically: the machine only travels at a reduced speed within the danger zone – this saves a lot of time!

With iMSNC® and numerous remote maintenance modules, we offer the best foundation for fast and competent help via remote dialin. Nearly all electronic components can be evaluated and diagnosed. Thus, in more than 90 percent of all cases, machine downtime can be remedied quickly and easily without the need of a service technician on site.

The touchscreen enables access to the established Delem user interface and also direct navigation between programming and production. Functions are located directly where they are needed, with optimized ergonomics throughout the application. DA-Touch series controls offer 2D programming that includes automatic calculation of the bending sequence and collision detection.
The overall 2D machine setup includes multiple tool stations and provides instant feedback on product feasibility and handling. Highly efficient control algorithms optimize the machine cycle and reduce the time required for set-up. This makes the use of press brakes easier, more efficient and more versatile than ever.
Alternatively, control systems from the manufacturer ESA are also available.
