SMART Giant X: lasersnijden in XXL-formaat
De SMART Giant X is een grootformaat fiberlasersysteem voor maximale efficiëntie en autonomie. Uitgerust met een laserbron van 12 tot 60 kW maakt de SMART Giant X nauwkeurige sneden mogelijk, ook in dikkere materialen en met minimale bedieningsinspanning.
Het modulaire ontwerp biedt een werkbreedte van 3.200 mm met standaard werklengtes van 6.950 mm tot 15.900 mm. Indien nodig kan dit worden uitgebreid tot 42.900 mm. Daarmee maakt de SMART Giant X het bewerken van bijzonder grote plaatformaten mogelijk. Dit ondersteunt geoptimaliseerde nesting met minimaal materiaalverlies.
Doordat snijden en laden/lossen gelijktijdig op afzonderlijke tafelsecties kunnen plaatsvinden, wordt stilstand beperkt en neemt de productiviteit toe.

Software
Software for your laser cutting system
To enable you to concentrate fully on your production, the following software solutions help you intuitively convert drawings and cutting plans into finished components. Which of the listed solutions can be used depends on the individual configuration of your cutting system's control system – we are happy to advise you personally! In principle, solutions from alternative manufacturers, such as Lantek or Libellula, can of course also be used.

CypNest
CypNest is a powerful nesting software developed specifically for laser cutting systems, enabling efficient and material-saving nesting of cut parts.
Control
Two powerful control options are available for the series: MSE SmartControl, developed with Eckelmann, offers an intuitive HMI, fast height control, extensive assistance functions, and is fully IndustryFusion-ready. Alternatively, the TWINCUT S80 from ACCURL enables ultra-dynamic processes with high-speed communication, automatic parameter adaptation, integrated CAD/CAM nesting software, and comprehensive monitoring for maximum cutting performance.
MSE SmartControl machine control
High-end: Industry 4.0 control with intuitive operating logic
MicroStep Europa has developed the MSE SmartControl control system in collaboration with German control specialist Eckelmann. The machine control system, manufactured for use in all environmental conditions, is used to control the cutting components and cutting peripherals. The MSE SmartControl has a user-friendly HMI (Human Machine Interface), which can be conveniently operated via two 21.5" TFT multi-touch displays and an additional handheld device. A clear and easy-to-use graphical user interface allows for quick familiarization. The machine control system includes an industrial-grade PC. The control components are located in a control cabinet. The cables are routed in a secure cable duct. In addition to fast height control for a constant distance to the workpiece, the control system also offers CNC-controlled compensation mechanisms for optimum laser focus position. Additional functions such as sheet metal position detection, cut compensation, and wear part monitoring are integrated into the control system as standard.
The MSE SmartControl is also optimized for use with IndustryFusion, a cross-manufacturer open-source networking solution for smart factories and smart products.

TWINCUT S80 machine control
Process reliability, efficiency, and repeatability
The TWINCUT S80 CNC control system takes over the complete control of all cutting components and the associated peripherals. It is equipped as standard with a user-friendly HMI (Human Machine Interface), which can be conveniently controlled via a 21.5" touchscreen or an ergonomic hand-held operating device.
The clear graphical user interface enables intuitive operation and quick familiarization for users. The control system is based on a robust industrial PC, which is integrated together with all other control components in a separate control cabinet. The power and signal lines are routed in a secure cable duct.
To ensure optimum cutting quality, the control system features fast automatic height control for a constant distance to the workpiece and CNC-controlled compensation mechanisms for precise laser focus positioning.
The following functions are also integrated as standard:
- Sheet metal layer detection for automatic alignment of the cutting process
- Smart Piercing for optimized piercing processes
- Smart Laser Off to reduce unproductive times
- Smooth Microjoin for improved component quality
- Auto Recut when incomplete cuts are detected
- Integrated CAD/CAM system for simple and efficient programming
